The rumours of a new Paul McCartney album, "Mirrors", which was said to include (amongst others) David Gilmour on guitar, have turned out to be just that, with the story originating on Macca's official bulletin board by a hoaxer. Paul isn't even due to start recording a new album until next month, and as yet, no guest musicians are expected to be on it...

The original, strong rumours originated in South America, with a number of Brazilian Paul McCartney AND Floyd related sites reporting that David Gilmour was one of the guests on the new Macca album, "Mirrors", which was said to be released on January 19th. Other guest artists on the album were said to be Ringo Starr, Brian Eno, Fran Healy (from Travis), Dhani Harrison (George's son), and Heather Mills-McCartney.
