A selection of twelve of Nick Mason's cars will be on display at the Retromobile show being held in Paris next month.
The show, at the Paris Expo at the Porte de Versailles, runs from February 16th - 25th, and is a showcase for the finest cars from around the world, covering each era of motoring.
Amongst the cars on display from Nick's personal collection, will be his Panhard et Levassor (1901, fresh from its appearance at the annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, held in November), an Aston Martin Ulster (1935), a standard Jaguar D (1955), a Ferrari 250 GTO (1962), Ferrari 512 S (1970) and a MacLaren F1 (1995).
In all, Nick's contribution will display a century of "automobile passion and competition" to the estimated 100,000 visitors of Rétromobile.
If you visit the www.retromobile.fr site, you can view a gallery of Nick's cars - in all, there are 26 pictures to enjoy, some of which that include Nick.
It is the 32nd Retromobile, and is a popular draw with the French motoring enthusiasts. Tickets are now available for the show, through Fnac, Carrefour, and Géant or through www.francebillet.com.
Other special aspects to the show are a celebration of fifty years of the tiny Fiat 500 (Michael Schumacher's favourite car, amazingly enough!), Peugeot celebrates 99 years of motor racing, and the event also marks 60 years since the French Polar Expeditions.
