In an upcoming programme on BBC television, Nick Mason, more famous for his Pink Floyd drumming duties, talks about his flying skills in an effort to calm a nervous flyer.
 The 45 minute documentary, "What I'd Really Like to Do", airs on BBC1 TV on Monday January 8th 2007 (14 days time) at 9:15am.
Self-confessed nervous flier Adrian Chiles overcomes his fear to pilot a light aircraft and take a jumbo jet simulator from Heathrow to New York, before attempting a loop-the-loop in a very old stunt plane.
Famous fliers like Nick, and fellow musician Gary Numan, try to explain why they prefer to have their heads in the clouds.
BBC1 TV can be received by UK based analogue and digital reception technologies - including Freeview, Sky, and NTL/Telewest, and the channel's signal can be picked up via satellite in many European countries.
BBC television programmes are also broadcast worldwide on BBC Prime, BBC World and BBC America, although we don't currently have any information on international airing dates for this show.
