Nick Mason © Bandaged Together, for Children in Need 2009Work has started on Bandaged Together, a new charity album being recorded at London's legendary Abbey Road Studios, in aid of the BBC's Children in Need appeal. To be released at the end of October or beginning of November, all going well, it includes an ever-growing line-up of big stars.

Joining Nick Mason [click thumbnail] at the studios early this month (Nick being a regular visitor to Abbey Road with Pink Floyd of course), will be the likes of Bill Wyman, Midge Ure, Roger Taylor, Bryan Ferry, Imelda May, Cerys Matthews, Hugh Cornwell, Heather Small and Peter Gabriel.

There will also be filming for a "Making Of" video, to be broadcast on TV during the Children in Need appeal in November. More details as we get them; also keep an eye on www.bandaged.org.uk, the official site for the project.
