Nick Mason can be heard in an hour-long Pink Floyd special, coming up soon on the UK's Virgin Radio station.

The interview, to be aired on Tuesday, July 18th at 8pm BST (GMT+1), has Nick talking about the band's history with Virgin presenter Russ Williams.

With all the recent activity - the Live8 reunion, the Pulse DVD release, Nick performing with David and Richard in London, and performing with Roger on a number of dates on his current Dark Side Of The Moon tour - it should be a fascinating look at the band's past, present, and no doubt, future.

Virgin Radio can be listened to in a variety of ways - 105.8FM in London, 1215AM, Sky, Telewest, NTL and DAB Digital Radio in the UK, and via www.virginradio.co.uk worldwide thanks to their live stream.

The last time Nick was at the Virgin Radio studios, was to record a special interview marking the 25 year anniversary of the release of Pink Floyd's classic album "The Wall" back in 2004. The whole album was played with Nick discussing each track in turn. For those who missed this, they have made the show available to listen to again, on demand. Hear Nick as he talks through each track, the recording process, and describes the live shows for the album...

The interview lasts 37 minutes, as they have cut out all the music - but then we guess you already have the album (and if not, why not?!). It can be heard through this link.

Our thanks to David Haddock for the news of the upcoming interview.
