nick mason in kitchen On Monday (June 2nd), Nick Mason appeared on the BBC2 TV biographical chat show, "A Taste Of My Life". The show looks back at the life of celebrities via their love of food, with friends of theirs preparing various dishes whilst revealing fond memories of the subject, which in this case was impressionist Rory Bremner.

Described as Rory's best buddy, Nick is seen [left] going through his paces in the kitchen preparing a spiced prawn rice dish, in memory of one of their best times together at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Displaying a dab culinary hand, the food and drink were very well received by Rory and Nigel Slater, the host.

No stranger to the kitchen, Nick is a keen chef, and indeed holds the Guinness World Record for cooking the world's biggest crumpet in 2000! The show is available via the BBC iPlayer service for the next few days via this link.
