In The Studio with RedbeardPopular North American syndicated rock radio program and website InTheStudio: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands revisits the post-Dark Side of the Moon Pink Floyd on the 40th anniversary of Wish You Were Here this weekend, with guests David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Roger Waters and archive comments from the late keyboard player Richard Wright.

"You try following up Dark Side of the Moon. Go on, just try it!", admonishes David Gilmour in the show. "We've been trying to do it ever since!", laughs drummer Nick Mason. Not just the confessed favourite Floyd album of all that Gilmour and Mason did, the album came from a period of fracture and a degree of strife was starting to show within the band. Roger Waters notes that during the making of Wish You Were Here, "Already the rot had set in...".

As Nick Mason said to Redbeard in his interview for the show, "Once you've had the big hit album everything should roll off a little easier and in fact like so many things...it's just as difficult to make the next album as the one before."

You can hear the interview part of the show through this link, and to hear the entire show with music, visit www.inthestudio.net/radio-stations to find locally participating radio stations, and from there you can check local listings for exact broadcast dates and times.
