harry waters band album coverFollowing a full house the last time he played there, Harry Waters (son of Roger) and his band will be playing at The Bull's Head in London once a month. The shows kick off on Sunday, September 13th, from 1pm to 3:30pm, and will see Harry's band playing as a quartet.

The Bull's Head sits alongside the River Thames (location map here) and is a world-renowned jazz venue, with all the big names having played there on multiple occasions. Tickets cost £8.

As part of the show, we're sure he'll be heavily featuring his first album, which is a cracking alternative to the music that you might normally listen to. Enlisting, amongst others, the likes of Ian Ritchie on tenor sax, Chester Kamen on acoustic guitar, and the excellent Yaron Stavi on double bass (part of Phil Manzanera's current band for the Firebird V11 project), the album's style and infectious jazz-centred tunes might take you by surprise!

A very enjoyable album, it can be ordered through: Amazon UK, Amazon.com, Amazon Canada, Germany, or France. Harry's own website, www.HarryWaters.co.uk, includes some audio samples to give you a taster.
