Well,
the latest Brain Damage competition has now closed. As we've mentioned
before, Guy Pratt's new book, "My Bass and Other Animals", is published
at the end of this month, and we had five copies, all signed by Guy, to
give away to BD visitors!
The book promises a warts'n'all look at his life on the road and in
the studio, including much on his work with David Gilmour and Pink
Floyd over the years.
Those who have seen Guy's "My Bass And Other Animals" show will know
how hilarious it is, taking the audience through his musical history,
involving such luminaries as Madonna, David Crosby, Michael Jackson and
David Bowie, alongside sections on life with Pink Floyd and David
Gilmour. The book itself should cover even more ground, and we cannot
wait to read it!
Ordering details for the book, and the dates and locations where you can catch Guy live, below.
And so to the five lucky winners of our competition... We've gone
through all the correct entries (and there were plenty of them!) and
whittled them down to five lucky people, picked at random from the
pile. Our congratulations go to:
Espen Olsvik, from Aalesund, Norway
Christopher Hughes, from Westbrook, Australia
Sunil Mathur, from Worthing, England
Stefan Demarbaix, from Loch Lomond, Scotland
Marko Zwijnenburg, from Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Well done to the above, and better luck next time to all those who
weren't lucky - we've got another competition coming soon, so don't
despair!
