A couple of weeks ago, Guy Pratt played his first London West End show, presenting "My Bass And Other Animals", his one-man-show looking at his long musical career.
The show, reviewed on this site, and completely sold out, is a hilarious look at life with the likes of Michael Jackson, Madonna, Jimmy Page, Pink Floyd and others.
Pulling few punches, he covers life from childhood, and his failed attempts to get an electric guitar from his parents, through to this year's Live 8 shows, where he was invited to play with the Floyd whilst Roger Waters played an acoustic guitar, but ended up in Berlin with Bryan Ferry instead.
Guy got back in contact with us yesterday afternoon. Thanks to the very positive reaction the show had, and the speed that tickets were sold, he has added another couple of dates, to be held at the same venue. Tickets for the shows, on 4th and 11th December at the Sound Theatre, Wardour Street in London, are available from 0870 890 0503. The show starts at 7:30pm on both evenings.
The venue, part of the Swiss Centre in Leicester Square, is a strange, dimly lit venue, with the seats in a semi-circle around the stage, that is an intimate setting - perfectly suited to Guy's conversational style.
It's a great show - and tickets are bound to go quickly, based on past experience. Get your tickets now to ensure your place!
