With David Gilmour's 2006 tour currently en route to the US, for his dates there and in Canada, we've got news today of some more activity to be aware of. First, David and his band will be making an appearance on the highly respected, and long running, UK BBC2 TV series "Later With... Jools Holland". They will be performing in the studio, on an (as yet unspecified) date.

The first of the eight-part series starts on May 5th, and we know that he isn't on that one. One presumes that it will coincide with the UK shows at the end of the month, but as soon as we get confirmation of this from the BBC we will let you know.

Many of you will be aware that Jools helps out on David's album "On An Island", so one wonders if he'll do the honours again for this appearance?

Secondly, it is worth checking out Capital Radio in Italy, from 8pm on April 7th. They will be airing an interview with David, and allegedly they will also be exclusively broadcasting highlights from one of the Italian shows the same evening.

Those outside Italy will be able to tune in via their website - www.Capital.it - click on "radio", then "ascolta la radio" (trans: listen to the radio).

Our thanks to Virginia for the Italian news, and Sheila for the Jools Holland news.
