Further to yesterday's news about David Gilmour adding three shows to the end of the tour, we were contacted this evening by David's management with news of a FURTHER three shows which have also been added!

The additional shows, with the same band and format as before - a mix of his current solo album, with some classic Pink Floyd tunes to boot - are all being held in Italy. They are all open air shows, in wonderful settings. We don't have ticketing information for these shows yet, but guess that these details will follow shortly.

Here's the complete run-down (to date) of the shows added to the tour:

  • July 27th - Austria - Clam Castle, which is near Linz

  • July 29th - Germany - Konigsplatz, München (Munich)

  • July 31st - France - Théâtre Antique, Vienne (south of Lyon)

  • August 2nd - Italy - Piazza Di Santa Croce, Firenze (Florence)

  • August 4th/5th - Italy - Piazza San Marco, Venezia (Venice)

Please don't ask if we know where else he is going to add - all we know is here! Once we have ticketing information, or any further dates that might be added, we will update you. The best place to check on a regular basis is our David Gilmour 2006 Tour Zone, which has full information (including ticketing, maps, and more) for ALL the shows.

Our thanks to David's management for letting us know about these shows...
