With David Gilmour's current tour in full swing, presenting a mix of solo material and Pink Floyd classics, our friend Mark Cunningham from Total Production International (TPI) magazine was in attendance at David's Amsterdam show, chatting with key people, and getting full information on the mechanics of the show itself.

TPI is the monthly magazine for the live event design and production industry, and Mark's article appears in the April 2006 issue - which is out on April 14th.

Leaving few stones unturned, Mark speaks with all the key staff on the tour, finding out full details of the equipment, and technical considerations, that had to be brought into play.

He speaks with the likes of Marc Brickman, who designed the very effective lightshow, production manager Roger Searle, and FOH engineer, Colin Norfield.
