Mojo October 2007 (pic: Stuart Barstow) Published today in the UK is the new issue of the highly respected Mojo Magazine (issue 167, cover date October 2007), which features extensive coverage of Pink Floyd within its pages.

Mojo's Mark Paytress speaks exclusively to Floyd's four surviving members about the psychedelic maelstrom of 1967, and revive the savage battles that have tormented them ever since. This is to tie in with the 40th anniversary commemoration, and the release of the new special edition of PATGOD. It is an enthralling interview, and the band members reveal some fascinating insights into their history and relationships.

Elsewhere in the magazine Mark Blake, author of the forthcoming Floyd book "Pigs Might Fly", presents a month-by-month analysis of Syd's breakdown by those who witnessed it first-hand.

There's also a free CD: "In Search Of Syd", which includes 15 tracks in debt to his genius, by the likes of Flaming Lips, Frank Zappa, Spacemen 3, Hawkwind, Soft Machine and more!

With reviews of the Remember That Night DVD, the 40th anniversary edition of PATGOD, Guy's book "My Bass and Other Animals", and a piece on PP Arnold's new album, there's plenty for us Floyd fans in this issue!

The magazine is available now in the UK, and will be available shortly worldwide in selected outlets as an import. More details over at www.Mojo4music.com.
