David Gilmour 2016 Rattle That Lock tourWith David Gilmour's 2016 Rattle That Lock tour resuming in just over a month's time, his official Facebook page has issued an update, a brief look at the first show on the upcoming schedule, and reveals that there has been some slight personnel changes for the band.

The last leg of the tour kicks off in Wroclaw, Poland, with a show at Plac Wolnosci (Freedom Square) in front of television cameras, directed by Aubrey 'Po' Powell for a live broadcast on the country's TV. As previously confirmed, the show will include a 30-piece orchestra conducted by long term Gilmour collaborator Zbigniew Preisner.

For the final bunch of shows, the band will include some interesting new members. Here's how they line up alongside David: on bass, Guy Pratt; drums, Steve DiStanislao; Chester Kamen on guitar; on keyboards there's Greg Phillinganes and Chuck Leavell; Brazilian Joao Mello returns on saxophone; and there's Louise Marshall, Lucita Jules and Bryan Chambers all on vocals.

Chester Kamen will be a very familiar name to many of you; he was guitarist for Bryan Ferry in 1985, when David joined Bryan, Chester and Jon Carin on stage at Wembley Stadium for the Live Aid concert - Chester and David also play guitar on Bryan's 1985 album Boys And Girls, and 1987's follow-up, Bete Noire. Chester also played on Roger Waters' 2002 In The Flesh tour.

Chuck Leavell was a former member of the Allman Brothers, and performed with David at the Capitol Theater in Passaic, New Jersey in 1984. Greg Phillinganes has a long CV, and in particular worked extensively with Stevie Wonder, The Jacksons/Michael Jackson, and Eric Clapton.
