On David Gilmour's official Facebook page, it has been announced that The Simon Mayo Drivetime programme on BBC Radio 2 (in the UK) today, September 3rd, from 5.05pm BST, includes an exclusive first playing of the new single from David Gilmour's upcoming album, Rattle That Lock. The show runs until 7pm and as yet we don't know what time the song - called Today - will be aired.

In more news relating to the Drivetime programme, Radio 2 have announced that David will be appearing live on the show on Tuesday, September 8th. As before, the show runs from 5.05pm to 7pm, UK time.

BBC Radio 2 can be heard on DAB and FM radio, via Freeview, Sky satellite and Virgin Media cable, and via www.BBC.co.uk/radio2, which will allow listeners around the world to tune in. The BBC's iPlayer service (at their website, and on Virgin Media) will allow listening on demand for seven days from the date of broadcast, principally for those in the UK, but this does also work in a number of other countries.
