Well, we had a mountain of entries for our latest Brain Damage competition, giving away some nice prizes to commemorate David Gilmour's new album and tour for "On An Island". It's taken a while to sort out all the correct answers, but we now have the lucky winners!

Many of you recall that we were giving away an exclusive David Gilmour t-shirt and baseball cap, courtesy of our friends over at Sony BMG, to those who answered the following questions correctly:

  1. Name the artist who created the album artwork and design. This was Steve Knee, at Blade
  2. On which track on the new album does David play saxophone? Red Sky At Night
  3. In what year was David's previous solo world tour? The key word here was "world" tour. We were after 1984, the last time that David did a tour which visited a number of countries - Europe, USA, Canada... His 2001/2002 shows don't count!
Well done to all who got these right, and commisserations to all those who weren't winners this time. The two lucky people picked at random to receive the prizes were:
  • Steve Valvano, USA
  • Shalom Aufgang, Israel

Your prizes will be sent direct from Sony BMG (in the US) shortly.

We will have more competitions coming up soon, so make sure you keep checking back!
