i Guitar magazineJust launched is Guitar Interactive, a free, digital magazine which will be of interest to budding guitarists worldwide - and the first issue (online now) heavily features David Gilmour's techniques and abilities.

The magazine takes avantage of its medium by including, alongside the article text, video tutorials to guide people through the concepts raised. The first issue runs to around 120 pages, and the publishers say that there's almost five hours of video content.

With David taking the lion's share of attention, you can read about his lead guitar style, an analysis of his success, his slide guitar skills, his "rhythm technique" explained (!), his blues playing examined, and to top it all off there's a review of the "David Gilmour Relic" edition of the Fender Black Strat. Check it all out now at www.iguitarmag.com/issue1.
