For those intending to see Pink
Floyd guitarist David Gilmour on his forthcoming tour (see the full
tour date listing), we have some news on already announced shows, and a
possible date in Los Angeles.

David Gilmour - Live 2006 |
Firstly, for those wanting to attend the show in Rome, at the Auditorium, tickets are now on sale through this link.
Still on the subject of Italian
shows, there appear to have been problems with the Milan tickets. It
seems that anyone who ordered stalls tickets have had their orders
cancelled due to ticket allocation problems, and they need to check
their emails urgently even though they have had confirmation of
securing the tickets. It only applies to stalls tickets; balcony
tickets are still OK.
In other news, a possible date for David to appear in Los Angeles appeared on the House Of Blues
website. It today showed that David would be appearing at the Gibson
Amphitheatre at Universal City Walk, in Universal City, CA, on April
20th.
This is the same venue where
David played two shows at in 1984 and Roger Waters played at in 1992
and 2000 when it was known as the Universal Amphitheatre. It is
believed that, alongside this show, at least one other will be added.
The site listed the on sale date as December 18th and the prices were
listed as being in the range of $60-150. However, this evening, it was
curiously absent.
Obviously, this is NOT definite,
and until we get the confirmed dates from David's management, you
should not make plans around it, as it might change. However, we pass
on the information to you purely as guidance for what looks likely to
happen.
Our thanks in particular to Dave Lowe, Steven Burnett, and Ken Lund for their help.
