The latest production by the Eugene Ballet Company should prove interesting to Pink Floyd fans, even if it proves to be a somewhat unconventional choice of Valentine's Day entertainment!
Based on the Floyd's 1973 album, Toni Pimble's newest ballet Dark Side of the Moon explores themes of conflict, greed, aging and insanity. The tribute band Floydian Slips will join the company on stage for this world premiere performance, being held at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts in Eugene, Oregon, on Saturday, February 13th, 2010 at 7:30pm, and Sunday, February 14th, at 2pm.
