With tickets for the Roger Waters Wall tours of 2010 and 2011 selling lightning fast, we've had loads of emails over the last month or so from fans who weren't able to get theirs before they sold out, but don't want to pay ridiculous amounts to a ticket tout/scalper. We've also had a few emails from people who have spare tickets and want to ensure they end up in the hands of a genuine fan at a reasonable price.
Having looked into this, there are two official websites who should be able to help. First, there's GetMeIn, a part of the Ticketmaster group, that allows the fan to buy or sell tickets for the UK shows and some of the European concerts.
There's also Viagogo (or Viagogo.de for those in Germany), official partners of the tour promoter Live Nation, and they allow the fan to buy or sell tickets for pretty much every show on the US, Mexican, UK and European legs of the tour.
Both sites provide security for all aspects of the transaction; the seller will get their cash, and the buyer, a genuine ticket! We've been loath to recommend aftermarket ticketers in the past, but both these seem ideal for those who missed out first time around, or those who have an extra ticket. Use our links to GetMeIn and Viagogo, and you'll also give us a little help with running costs, too!
