The BBC have three different shows coming soon on their radio stations, which feature varying degrees of
Pink Floyd involvement. Here are the dates for your diaries:
Tuesday June 8th, 10:00pm - 00:00am British Summer Time
BBC Radio 6 - Dream Ticket: which features the Fugees, Rapture and Tori Amos, providing support in this fictional ideal concert, headlined by Pink Floyd. We believe that the material that will be aired will be from the 1994 Earls Court show but this is not confirmed.
Saturday June 12th, 10:30 - 11:00am BST
BBC Radio 4 - The Roundhouse: Robert Elms presents the weird, wonderful, rocking, radical, psychedelic history of London's Roundhouse Theatre, in its 40th anniversary year. The Roundhouse was host to Pink Floyd on more than one occasion, so the documentary should definitely be worth a listen!
Monday June 14th, 8:30pm - 9pm BST
BBC Radio 4 - DOCUMENTARY: Peter Zinovieff: Poet Katrina Porteous explores the work of Peter Zinovieff, whose pioneering computer music studio has been used by visitors as diverse at Harrison Birtwistle and Pink Floyd. Some of you will recall that Zinovieff was the inventor of VCS3 synthesizer, that was heavily used for Dark Side of the Moon. No confirmed Floyd content in the documentary, but again, should be worth tuning in.
As with all BBC shows, you can listen to the shows on demand for a week after they have aired. More
