As you may know, the Aussie Floyd are a band with a very long history with Brain Damage, having travelled to the UK especially for our first International Fan Convention held at Wembley. Since then, we know that loads of you have enjoyed their successive tours.
Recently released was "Exposed In The Light", a recording from the band's 2012 UK and European tour. Clearly shot from multiple camera positions, the almost two and a half hour DVD and Blu-ray give a good flavour of that tour's set, but interestingly, you don't get the show as it was performed. Between the tracks, there is backstage chat and explanation of certain aspects, song selection reasoning, and more. This gives it a quite fascinating documentary feel, rather than a potentially rather straight concert film.
In-concert footage looks and sounds great, as it should. The majority of the backstage, travel, and other footage is of differing quality, and in black and white, giving a clear contrast to the show stuff. It all combines to provide a refreshing and very interesting look at life on the road.
You can order the DVD through Amazon UK, who also sell the Blu-ray. You can also obtain either through AussieFloyd.com. However, we have five copies on DVD to give away to five lucky Brain Damage visitors in our latest competition...
