We have it on VERY good authority that David Gilmour's 2003 tour has sadly been shelved. He is not expecting to do any shows this year (apart from the odd guest appearance) so it'll be 2004 at the earliest. More news as we get it.

Dub Side Of The Moon, the reggae tribute to the classic Pink Floyd album, has now got a confirmed release date of February 18th 2003. We hope to be able to bring you a full review shortly... The company releasing it are currently running a pre-order for the CD through their on-line store. Anyone who orders the CD now can have it shipped on February 14th, so it arrives on street date (February 18th).
More exciting than the pre-order is the associated contest they are running: when you pre-order, you are automatically entered into a random drawing. The grand prize winner will win a free trip for two to Montego Bay, Jamaica, for a four day/three night stay at an all-inclusive resort. Wow! That's even better than the signed copy of Brain Damage Magazine we gave away over Christmas to our subscribers!
Here's the link to their online store and good luck with the prize draw. (Draw only open to US and Canadian residents)

Information is now coming out that the 30th anniversary edition of Dark Side Of The Moon, is not now appearing on DVD-Audio, but on Sony's SACD (Super Audio CD) format. Apparently, Sony, in an attempt to push the format, covered EMI's costs in remastering the new edition of DSOTM. Watch this space! Our thanks to regular Brain Damage contributor, Kees Nijpels, for this information.
