We spoke with Pink Floyd's management today to get an update on the long-anticipated release on DVD of the live concert video, PULSE. Whilst it now seems to be developing into a bit of a long-running saga, getting it released on DVD, they are now hoping for a December 1st release worldwide, with the exception of the US, where the aim is for Thanksgiving - November 25th. This is by no means confirmed though - but just what the band and management are currently aiming at.

We spoke today to Nick Mason's office about his long-awaited, imminent, book about Pink Floyd, called "Inside Out - A Personal History", and they were able to give us some detail on forthcoming UK interviews and book signing sessions.

Further to our previous news items about the Q/Mojo special edition magazine devoted to Pink Floyd, we
are pleased to let you know it has now been published.
The magazine, a Q Special Edition in the UK, and a MOJO Special Edition overseas, is 150 pages of
fantastic material! Whilst we thought it was going to be good, we had no idea that it would include so many great, previously unpublished photos - worth the cover price alone. There's also new interviews with Roger Waters, and Nick Mason, with some tasty revelations regarding his forthcoming book Inside Out. Indeed, Roger makes some interesting comments about his view on Nick's book...

On Friday night, Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour appeared alongside a whole host of top musicians at the London Wembley Arena charity event to celebrate the Fender Stratocaster guitar. The event, in aid of Nordoff-Robins Music Therapy, included Ronnie Wood (The Rolling Stones), Joe Walsh (The Eagles), Brian May (Queen), The Shadows' Hank Marvin, Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music), Mike Rutherford (Genesis/Mike & The Mechanics), Paul Carrack (Squeeze/Mike & The Mechanics), The Crickets, Gary Moore, Jamie Cullum and Amy Winehouse. Jeff Beck, Johnny Marr and Bryan Adams were all scheduled to appear but were unable to attend.
