COMMENTS
It is worth noting that the six shows at Rome's Circus Maximus are the entirety of his Italy (and indeed, European) performances this time around. We suspect there could be dates elsewhere announced in due course.
Tickets will go on general sale through this link at Ticketone.it, on May 17th. From May 15th at 9am until May 16th at 11:59pm, there will also be a Virgin Radio, and Sonyo, presale, as well as a presale for those who have preordered Luck and Strange from the official David Gilmour Italian Album Store. We are sure that demand will be high for these special concerts.

WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!
Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!
Night six of the tour (if you ignore the two dress rehearsals conducted in Brighton, on the south coast of England, last month), and the sixth night in the Eternal City, Rome, in Italy. The production now packs up and heads back to England for the sequence of shows at London's Royal Albert Hall.
Of course, those who were there will know that first, everything needs to be dried off and cleaned up before packing away! The weather forecast for the last of the two shows in Rome weren't looking great beforehand, but thankfully the penultimate show remained dry. Depending on which one you looked at, the forecast for this, the final show, was looking pretty bad - heavy rain through the day, and the possibility of lightning during the early part of the show.
And oh, did it rain! Drainage experts were seen trying to remove some of the surface water, and thankfully the rain DID ease up, stopping before the show started (half an hour later than planned). The skies remained dry until the finale of Comfortably Numb which saw some spots of rain starting to encroach again, but nothing like earlier.
As with the previous two nights, this show was filmed by multiple cameras for a future Blu-ray/DVD release (and we suspect, CD and LP as well).
We'd love to know in more detail how the concert went. Did you go? Let us know what YOU thought!
YOUR HELP NEEDED! We want to cover David's concerts the best we can, to share the experience with everyone, especially those who won't be able to attend the shows. We'd love to see ANY pictures, tickets scans, reviews, newspaper reports, and anything else you come across for this show - we look forward to hearing from you!
