Roger's Us + Them tour heads into South America following the successful 2017 shows in the US and Canada, and the 2018 shows in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. At the original announcement of the tour, the following was revealed:
"We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very
secret," said Roger Waters. "It'll be a mixture of stuff from my long
career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably
75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all
connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you.
It'll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”
The announcement notes that "Roger Waters' legendary live performances
are renowned as immersive sensory experiences featuring high class,
state-of-the-art audio visual production and breathtaking quad sound.
This new tour promises to be no exception; following months of
meticulous planning and visionary craft, US + Them will inspire crowds
with its powerful delivery and take the audience on an unforgettable
musical journey."
Those who have attended - or have seen pictures/video of - the US and Canadian shows, will know just how spectacular and moving this new production is, and how it is a show you really shouldn't miss!

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!
Well, Roger always has that knack of springing surprises from time to time (who would have expected his narration on The Soldier's Tale to be released on vinyl and CD?!) and last night's show was no exception.
The penultimate song(s) in the set has changed from time to time, with early shows having Vera/Bring The Boys Back Home. More normally, it now tends to be Mother, with other variants at times. However, the previous night in Salvador, and last night too, Roger played Two Suns In The Sunset from Pink Floyd's 1983 album, The Final Cut! And it sounded great too... this makes a grand total of two shows that Roger has performed this song. Let's hope there's more to come.
First, here's the video from the show from Roger's official Facebook page…
We'd love to know from those attending how they felt the concert went. How was the show for you, if you were one of the fortunate ones to attend? Let us know what YOU thought!
CONCERT REVIEW by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Charles Portilho
In previous times I traveled around Brazil to see Roger Waters and David Gilmour concerts, but now in 2018 was the most special gig because Roger came to play in my city and the stadium is in my neighbourhood. Sensational!!!
I took the whole family and we saw an unforgettable and indescribable spectacle. 50.000 in attendance and a great evening was done.
After all, I was able to get a piece of the pig Algie hahahahaha ... I will keep it with great affection.
For the fourth time, thank you Roger you are definitely the biggest in the world.
And thank you so much for playing Two Suns in the Sunset, a wonderful song from The Final Cut.
Pink Floyd will live forever.
YOUR HELP NEEDED! We want to cover Roger's concerts the best we can, to share the experience with everyone, especially those who won't be able to attend the shows. We'd love to see ANY pictures, tickets scans, reviews, newspaper reports, and anything else you come across for this show - we look forward to hearing from you!
