Roger's Us + Them tour heads into South America following the successful 2017 shows in the US and Canada, and the 2018 shows in Australia and New Zealand. At the original announcement of the tour, the following was revealed:
"We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very
secret," said Roger Waters. "It'll be a mixture of stuff from my long
career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably
75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all
connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you.
It'll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”
The announcement notes that "Roger Waters' legendary live performances
are renowned as immersive sensory experiences featuring high class,
state-of-the-art audio visual production and breathtaking quad sound.
This new tour promises to be no exception; following months of
meticulous planning and visionary craft, US + Them will inspire crowds
with its powerful delivery and take the audience on an unforgettable
musical journey."
Those who have attended - or have seen pictures/video of - the US and Canadian shows, will know just how spectacular and moving this new production is, and how it is a show you really shouldn't miss!

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!
The Us + Them tour is back up and running, with this second of two consecutive nights in Sao Paulo. As with last night, Mother has returned in the penultimate spot of the set list - it sometimes gets changed to other songs, and sits just before the concert closer of Comfortably Numb. The band now head to Brasilia for a show there on Saturday night.
First, here's the video from the show from Roger's official Facebook page…
We'd love to know from those attending how they felt the concert went. How was the show for you, if you were one of the fortunate ones to attend? Let us know what YOU thought!
CONCERT REVIEW by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Bruno CF
Roger also kept the same setlist. I'm not entirely sure about the differences between the setlist since the beginning of the tour, but I noticed a little unusual intervention on the song 'Money'. The song is abruptly interrupted by a sound of an explosion mixed with an old footage of an atomic bomb. After a few second the song returns. I can't say if this version of the song is usual during this tour but I watched a show from Denmark 2018 and the song was played as the original one.
The political references did not appear in this concert, and we can say this show was very attenuated after all the negative repercussion on the last night. Some people that were in both shows agreed that this one, on the second night, was better than the first.
Now, if you permit me, a little contextualization about all this scenario in Brazil: the political running for the presidential chair is in progress at this exactly moment. People will choose the next president in two weeks, and the ideological fighting is happening everywhere. In a resume: the things are on fire, and Roger has six more concerts to do here.
YOUR HELP NEEDED! We want to cover Roger's concerts the best we can, to share the experience with everyone, especially those who won't be able to attend the shows. We'd love to see ANY pictures, tickets scans, reviews, newspaper reports, and anything else you come across for this show - we look forward to hearing from you!
