Roger's Us + Them tour heads into Europe following the successful 2017 shows in the US and Canada. At the original announcement, the following was revealed:
"We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very
secret," said Roger Waters. "It'll be a mixture of stuff from my long
career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably
75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all
connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you.
It'll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”
The announcement notes that "Roger Waters' legendary live performances
are renowned as immersive sensory experiences featuring high class,
state-of-the-art audio visual production and breathtaking quad sound.
This new tour promises to be no exception; following months of
meticulous planning and visionary craft, US + Them will inspire crowds
with its powerful delivery and take the audience on an unforgettable
musical journey."
Those who have attended - or have seen pictures/video of - the US and Canadian shows, will know just how spectacular and moving this new production is, and how it is a show you really shouldn't miss!

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!
And so, the tour is back in France for this show in Lille, before heading to Amsterdam for a set of four shows which are being filmed, hopefully for future release.
It now seems pretty certain that what was the penultimate selection (either Mother, or Wait For Her, Oceans Apart, Part Of Me Died) is now permanently to be left out of the show. We presume Roger decided to drop it, so that there is a better flow between Brain Damage/Eclipse, and Comfortably Numb...
First, here's a video from the show from Roger's official Facebook page…
We'd love to know from those attending how they felt the concert went. How was the show for you, if you were one of the fortunate ones to attend? Let us know what YOU thought!
CONCERT REVIEW and PICTURES by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Thierry Carne
Two years since I saw David Gilmour in Chantilly, I was eager to see Roger Waters in concert after see him in The Wall and In The Flesh tours.
The stadium is in the "box" configuration: half the stadium, the playground releasing the ground area and the first sitting places. total capacity 26000. It's full!
You may have the most beautiful music and effects in the world, but without good sound, the concert is bad. No problem tonight, the sound was excellent for the first time in this place. Depeche Mode sound engineer should take lessons! The sound is as good as in DG shows.
Music was marvellous, for me Welcome To The Machine stole the first half and Animals the second, very powerful! The Last Refugee was very moving with its very touching videoclip.
Two regrets, the absence of Mother during the encore and Run Like Hell during the entire tour, this tune giving so much claps during the last tour.
Musicians are the best of all Roger's solo tours, of course the guitarists but I must say that the drummer was very very good! What a pleasure to see Jon Carin again.
Compare Dogs 2002 versus Dogs 2018 and you will agree.
The concert was very spectacular. Of course, I knew what would happen but to see it live was breathtaking. Lille has wait 30 years since Pink Floyd's last concert so the audience response was very loud.
Finally i can say that the man has changed. Mister Waters is more responsive, warm. We can feel that is his last tour. And what a great way to say Goodbye.
Thank You for all, Mr Waters.
