Roger's Us + Them tour heads into Europe following the successful 2017 shows in the US and Canada. At the original announcement, the following was revealed:

"We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret," said Roger Waters. "It'll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It'll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”

The announcement notes that "Roger Waters' legendary live performances are renowned as immersive sensory experiences featuring high class, state-of-the-art audio visual production and breathtaking quad sound. This new tour promises to be no exception; following months of meticulous planning and visionary craft, US + Them will inspire crowds with its powerful delivery and take the audience on an unforgettable musical journey."

Back in Germany for another couple of concerts, tonight's show in Cologne, then Munich.

It now seems pretty certain that what was the penultimate selection (either Mother, or Wait For Her, Oceans Apart, Part Of Me Died) is now permanently to be left out of the show. We presume Roger decided to drop it, so that there is a better flow between Brain Damage/Eclipse, and Comfortably Numb...

Last Monday, on my way to Roger Waters Live in Cologne, just before the motorway access to the A31 a funny situation arose. I suddenly had a cattle truck with a promising vehicle lettering in front of me. Spontaneously, I took a picture of it.

At the time I did not know what to expect in Cologne, but I think "Better Pigs" is not bad and was a fitting welcome to Roger's show in Cologne. And that's how it was: the pig theme was celebrated excessively!

Also of interest is the triangular logo in the lower area, which also reminiscent in a funny way on "The Dark Side of the Moon".

The show itself was simply fantastic, and here are some pictures from it!
