Roger's Us + Them tour:

"We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret," said Roger Waters. "It'll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It'll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”

The third and final night in Chicago; the production now leaves the Windy City for the second time on this tour, and moves on to Milwaukee.

I attended the July 28th Roger Waters concert. The visuals were amazing. I saw David Gilmour last year at this same venue and Waters outdid Gilmour on the visuals.

The first half was a mix of Pink Floyd songs, from the albums Meddle to Dark Side of the Moon to The Wall with a few of his newer solo album mixed in. The music took the base of the original album recording and definitely added some rewrite to it. His performance of Dark Side of the Moon tour was closer to the original recordings but this was different.

The intermission was a bit weird with a police radio playing in the background.

The second half rocked with a big chunk dedicated to Animals and Waters' political views. I was sitting up along the sides and I could see the second half screens and effects. If one was sitting on the floor seats or in the back facing the stage, one would have missed the effects.

The middle of Dogs was a little confusing as to what the rest of the band was doing on stage while the "stone" effect echoed throughout the stadium. The band not playing music were sitting on stage in pig masks drinking champagne!

The songs were from Waters new album and 70s Pink Floyd stuff. They didn't perform anything from his previous solo albums or early 60s Pink Floyd...
