COMMENTS

David's 2015 tour of South America continues with this show being held in the home city of one of the musicians! The Pedreira Paulo Leminski is a 30,000 capacity outdoor concert venue, located in Curitiba, Brazil. It was partly named after Paulo Leminski, a twentieth century Brazilian writer, and because it served as a Municipal Pedreira, an asphalt plant.

Tickets for the concert go on sale on Thursday, September 10th, at 00:00hrs BRT through www.blueticket.com.br although please be aware that demand will be incredibly high so you might need to be patient and keep retrying.

We also understand that there may be a limited number of VIP packages available for this venue.

WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!

The production moved to an old quarry in Curitiba, Brazil, for a further incredible concert - the tour just seems to be getting better and better as it goes on, judging by reports we’re hearing.

Whilst the show was incredibly special for saxophonist Joao Mello, playing in his home city, it was also very notable for David’s guitar tech Phil Taylor, who was celebrating his birthday. Whilst Phil was changing his boss’s guitars on stage, David revealed Phil’s special day, leading to the entire audience singing Happy Birthday.

A slight change to the set, with the inclusion of the occasional Coming Back To Life, at the expense of On An Island, which was dropped for the night. Elsewhere during the show, a cloud of yellow balloons accompanied Yellow Dress, a bunch of fans at the front held up “Run” signs during Run Like Hell, and for the final few songs the rain poured, accompanied by flashes of lightning.

We'd love to know in more detail how the concert went. Did you go? Let us know what YOU thought!

YOUR HELP NEEDED! We want to cover David's concerts the best we can, to share the experience with everyone, especially those who won't be able to attend the shows. We'd love to see ANY pictures, tickets scans, reviews, newspaper reports, and anything else you come across for this show - we look forward to hearing from you!
