WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!
Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played, and what happened as the night unfolded!
The first night of the tour - or rather, the resumed tour, with Roger and the band having already performed some 120 public concerts (and a fair few full shows as rehearsals and for filming purposes). Kicking off in Perth, in a country which has waited patiently for this mammoth and thrilling show to arrive on their shores, the first night went very well indeed. The first reviews are starting to arrive, and below, you can read them, see some spectacular pictures, and watch video of the show...
In the media, you can see a really nice photo gallery over at CaughtInTheMosh.com. Turning to newspapers and other mainstream press, PerthNow have reviewed it, and they said: "It was always going to be a spectacular despite one seemingly lonely man dictating the show. And in the opening three songs of The Wall’s Australian debut, Roger Waters showed the uninitiated what it was all about, first playing showman against a fury of sparks on In The Flesh and pacifist in The Thin Ice, before prodding the audience with stunning theatre and effects on Another Brick in the Wall..."
If you went to this show in Perth, please let us know what you thought of the event, and if anything interesting or different happened if you've been to previous shows and can compare.

What an absolutely incredible experience. One of the greatest concerts I have ever been too. The visual and audio experience was second to none. To hear those great songs I have lived with for years, live for the first time, took them to a whole new level. Thank you Roger and team for bring this fantastic live experience to Perth!
