Night six of the tour, and the special additional encore seen at the previous show turned out to be a bit of a one-off for the Brisbane audience. If you went to this show in Melbourne please let us know what you thought of the event, and if anything interesting or different happened if you've been to previous shows and can compare.

It's always been one of my dreams to one day catch a live performance of The Wall in my lifetime, yet after the brilliant Dark Side of the Moon tour I thought I'd seen the last of Mr Waters and his Bleeding Hearts. After hearing that Roger would again perform The Wall live, I waited with bated breath, eventually giving up all hope that a near 70 year-old Roger could bring such a massive production all the way down here. After all this, Roger's performance last night was well worth the wait.
Not much you can say about the show, as it's been covered in here by countless others already, and the show has been done so many times that they are a well-oiled machine. Suffice to say, the performance was flawless and everything I could've hoped for (although the lack of an encore to match what our Brisbanian brothers and sisters got, despite a looooong wait, ended the night on not the best of notes).
I can only say to anyone in the remaining cities on Roger's tour, that they MUST see this show. It could be the last chance you get to see a true master at work, and a show of such grandeur and perfection.
If we never see you again down here Roger, you've left on the best of notes. Shine on.

I am literally completely speechless at the moment....I'll report back with my review probably after Saturday night's show. In the meantime, here's a few snaps from the most incredible night EVER.

I saw the Wall last Tuesday at Rod Laver Arena. It's easily the best concert that I have ever seen. I have seen The Delicate Sound Of Thunder tour in 1988, and Roger's In The Flesh and DSOTM tours. This show just blew me away.
