Roger and band did a special encore of Waltzing Matilda tonight and it was really good. Here's me and Robbie Wyckoff, and me and Mark Lennon.
CONCERT REVIEW by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Alex Jefferson
Well this was my final concert, seeing all three of the concerts here. It's cost me a fortune in tickets and travel but I consider this money very well spent. I know that this was my only opportunity to witness the genius of Roger Waters first hand and I wanted to make the most of it.
The show was no different to the previous two, but as I was sat in different parts of the venue I was able to appreciate different aspects such as the film, the surround sound, the lighting and the inflatables such as the pig and the teacher. I was sat to the side just right near Roger's fold out hotel room and it was great to be so close to him.
When the show was finished, Roger and the band gave us Aussies a special treat - Waltzing Matilda! We couldn't believe it and it made this final night even more special.
These three concerts have been the best I've ever experienced. I wish I could see it one more time. THANK YOU ROGER!!!
