COMMENTS
Roger's tour of The Wall arrives in New Zealand for what we assume will be the first in a few dates in the country. With The Wall getting its first live airing in New Zealand, this is bound to be a popular show. The date of this show was initially announced as February 20th, but this was changed to the 19th. As at June 30th, it's now back as the 20th!
UPDATE: with February 18th now added, this is the second of the NZ concerts.
General sale tickets went on sale on July 11th, through Ticketmaster.co.nz. The public sale will also see a limited number of VIP packages made available for each show on the tour. Our thanks to Bob Stephens for the ticket scan shown to the right.

WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!
Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played, and what happened as the night unfolded!
The second of four nights in New Zealand, playing the Vector Arena in Auckland. InvestigateMagazine reviewed the show, and they note that "The Wall is played in its entirety and the band plays it impeccably well with Roger at the age of 68 still able to belt out all of the tunes with a chilling accuracy. Snowy White is also on the stage as well as Jon Carin; both of whom have played with Roger and David many times before." They conclude their review by saying: "This concert was one to remember and it was performed brilliantly and left us with a memory that will be told for years to come, all we need now is for David Gilmour to come and play a show and that shall be the icing on the cake."
If you went to this show, please let us know what you thought of the event, and if anything interesting or different happened if you've been to previous shows and can compare.
CONCERT REVIEW by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Peter Wright
Roger Waters and the Band were perfection, performing a spectacular show. But sadly, it was over all too soon. Enjoy it while you can! One hell of an awesome night!
Thanks Roger. Thousands of New Zealanders can die happy, now we have seen The Wall live!
CONCERT REVIEW by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Rob Husband
Just got back from an astonishing show at the Vector. I've been to a few shows here in the past and never had a particularly good time, but Roger really rocked the joint and completely blew all my expectations.
The Wall has never been one of my favourite Floyd albums but I figured this would be my only chance to see Roger live (missed his Dark Side Of The Moon shows) so took the opportunity. I've got to give the album another listen as I've never known such a powerful, and emotional, experience. The band were brilliant and as for the staging? Wow!
Thank you Roger!!!!
CONCERT REVIEW and VIDEO by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Grant Smith
I have attached photos taken from the Vector Arena concert I attended on February 20 2012, in New Zealand. I also attended the Manchester show on May 20 2011 (check out my comments and the video on that page). Both of the shows were simply astounding and I enjoyed it even more the second time around!
