COMMENTS

The German leg of Roger's tour of The Wall sees strong ticket sales (as expected) forcing the addition of this show in Mannheim to the schedule. The production does a side visit to Switzerland in a couple of days time. Our thanks to Albert for sending in the ticket scan to the right.

General sale tickets went on sale on June 15th through normal ticketing agents including www.Eventim.de. It is understood that all tickets have now been sold for this show, but it is worth checking with the official agents if you still need a ticket, as quite often "production tickets" are released close to the concert itself. The public sale will also see a limited number of VIP packages made available for each show on the tour.

WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played, and what happened as the night unfolded!

Night forty-three of the tour, and the second of two nights in Mannheim. As with the previous night, the show featured the new ending to Another Brick In The Wall part II. Dave Kilminster said that "it was a little different tonight... we're still honing, but I think it's going to be really nice..."

The change to the conclusion to the song has taken a few fans by surprise, and there is some difference of opinion over the new version. As Dave has noted above, the changes are being worked on, and the following clip shows how the second version sounded...

If you went to this show in Mannheim, please let us know what you thought of the event, and if anything interesting or different happened if you've been to previous shows and can compare.
