COMMENTS

With the addition of this night (added towards the end of July 2010), it really is the second to last show on the European leg of Roger's Wall tour, in this new venue. The final show sees the production move to Dusseldorf's Esprit Arena.

The RogerWaters.com presales have taken place, with advance tickets available to those who had registered their interest in particular cities. General sale tickets are now on sale through normal ticketing agents including www.Eventim.de. There are still a limited number of tickets available to purchase for this concert. The public sale will also see a limited number of VIP packages made available for each show on the tour. Our thanks to Klaus for sending in the ticket scan to the right.

CONCERT REVIEW and PICTURES by BD CONTRIBUTOR, Sami Virtanen

I've got nothing to add to Simon's review about the first night in Berlin: the audience was suprisingly quiet. The next evening it was totally different. Crowd made a lot more noise starting from the beginning of the show.

Band played really well, much better than the night before when they made a few really minor mistakes. Mother was the highlight, because of the superb slide solo by G.E. Smith. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there was much more light on the other members of the band than compared to the shows before.

I was in Helsinki in April and it was occasionally really hard to see the other members of the band, but in Berlin they had the spotlight on for the whole of the show. It was much better.

Another Brick in the Wall PT2 had a new ending, which was much better and more powerful compared to the one they had the night before, dedicated to Jean Charles de Menezes.

First set went really smoothly. Roger sang really well and he was happy. The second set was also magnificent. Comfortably Numb was the highlight for two reasons: Dave K's solo on Comfortably Numb was so good that the crowd gave him a standing ovation, that was a powerful moment. The other reason was Roger, who gave a middle finger to someone in the audience, I thought that the good old Roger is finally back ;). It's a shame that I couldn't find it on YouTube as a close up.

(if I recall right it is at 2:37 where he straightens his arm).

Run Like Hell was also great, Roger was a maniac!

I've seen four shows this tour and this was by far the best.
