WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!
Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!
Following on from an almost two week break, the band have now
resumed their tour, with the first of three nights in Mexico. Initial
comments are now starting to arrive, and report the band in fine form,
and an ecstatic crowd! More details on this show soon...
One interesting difference is that the prism/pyramid made out of
fluorescent light bulbs has made a reappearance, as the photos below
show. Will other props such as the wheel of fire make a similar
reappearance at some point, we wonder?
NEWSPAPER REPORTS:
The first of these has come from Josue Sanchez Tapetillo, who has sent
over the front page from the March 3rd edition of Monterrey newspaper
"Milenio" (click on it to zoom in on Roger's picture).
The caption reads: "Roger Waters deleita. El considerado cerebro de importantes exitos de Pink
Floyd hizo vibrar a mas de 25000 fans en el Estadio Universitario."
Broadly speaking this translates as "Roger Waters delights. The
brain considered behind the most important songs of Pink Floyd,
thrilled more than 25,000 fans in the Estadio Universitario."
CONCERT COMMENT AND PICTURES:
BD contributer Tato Garza said that it was a "perfect night in
Monterrey", and kindly supplied some pictures from his friends Juan
Jose Cerron and Enrique Zamarripa:
