WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD!
Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played!
Another fine show, with the band playing their hearts out again. All
the normal songs and effects thrilled the capacity crowd. The tour now
moves across to Denmark for the show there on Tuesday night.
The website for Bergen's local newspaper has a number of goodies relating to this concert:
- a 1 minute, 33 second video of clips from Set The Controls, Mother and In The Flesh
- a series of nine pictures from the concert
- a Norwegian review of the concert
- and another review of the concert, on the same site!
Our thanks to Tor Kristiansen and Knut Arne Vedaa, who also told us about www.festivalfoto.no which also has some excellent pictures from the concert.
CONCERT REVIEW - by BD contributer, Knut Arne Vedaa
I'm not gonna say much, it's probably been said before. But the show was terrific.
I'm reminded again that Waters is really a great dramaticist.
Particularly evident in the first set and the encores, which are sort
of wowen together in a concept of it's own. And the band was fantastic,
of course. No weak spots, no mistakes, excellent performances, lots of
energy and enthusiasm. Good.
Visually the laser prism and rainbow was very cool. As well as the explosions. And many of the films.
The audience was great as well. I think Roger liked us. He said we were "fantastic". :)
Well we liked him too. No doubt.
CONCERT REVIEW - by BD contributer, Rune Sperre
It was an awesome concert, even better than the one I attended in Stavanger in June 2006. Roger was in great shape! He seemed very happy and even joked with the audience half way through!
