Nick Mason on The One ShowFriday night's "One Show" on the UK's BBC1 TV had an article showcasing the forthcoming Wizard of Oz musical and the talent show which will find the lead actress (and Toto, too). As part of the feature, they note that one of the oddest rumours around the film is the supposed link between Pink Floyd's 1973 album, The Dark Side of the Moon, and the 1939 movie.

Cue Nick Mason [click thumbnail, right], sitting behind a drumkit in his office: "It's unthinkable that we would have felt that it was really important to work with Judy Garland, and devise an album based on that particular story. So I have to say that sadly, both the tin man, and the straw man, and all the rest of it, had absolutely zero to do with that particular record!"

Those of you in certain countries will be able to catch it on the BBC's iPlayer service until the evening of Friday, April 2nd. Our thanks to Byron Lewis for the info.
